To ensure you are satisfied with the end result we undertake a specific process:

  1. Meet you on site
    The first job in any project is to meet you face to face to discuss the specific requirements and the options available to you.
  2. Create a specification for the work
    Where the project is over £10,000 it is sensible to have an agreed specification for the work. This ensures that both the client and contractor know what is expected to be completed and the standard. We will always strive to ensure a perfect finish but if your budget is very tight, it may be necessary to aim for a lower standard. If required, our in house architects and surveyors can create a specification to National Building Specification Standards. Whilst we do charge for this service, the cost is deducted from the total quote if we are instructed to proceed essentially giving it to you for free!
  3. Planning consent and licence applications
    For certain building works there is a requirement for building permits, planning consent, scaffold licencing etc. We can assist with those project preliminaries and will discuss these with you beforehand.
  4. Provide an itemised quote
    Once the specification has been agreed we will create an itemised quote detailing the labour, costs and disbursements so you can review the costs of each aspect of the proposed work. This is then sent to you in PDF format by e-mail. We are happy to discuss any aspect of the quote so you understand the reasons why.
  5. Follow up to check you have everything you need
    We always follow up a quote a week after it's been provided to you to check you are happy. We are not there to high pressure sell, just to ensure you are happy with the service provided so far.
  6. Project plan and start date
    Once you have agreed the quote and specification, we then confirm a start date for the project and notify you of the project duration and plan.
  7. Snagging and Completion
    Once we have completed the works to the specification we give you an opportunity to inspect the work and to confirm any snagging issues. Our aim is to provide a first class service so we are always keen to make sure you are 100% happy with the work.
  8. Feedback
    We are always keen to hear feedback from our clients about any aspect of the services we provide. All feedback is gratefully received and will be incorporated into our future processes to ensure continual improvement.
